The Uplands Apartments

Good facilities overall, very comfy sofa.

Hot water was too hot and plug in bathroom sink didn’t hold water in the sink. Apartment a bit out of town and no information provided on things to do for tourists.

We had no transport so it was quite a walk into Jersey and steep but luckily we are walkers but wouldn’t suit everyone.

Some ordinary outside chairs instead of heavy sun loungers which I couldn’t move and a retractable walking line.

Old fashioned decor, open entrance meant wind curled around and rattled doors include main door- made it very noisy at night. Poor water pressure in cold tap in bathroom, generally too expensive for what was offered. rooms smelled of horrible air freshener

The lockbox was rather fiddly to operate

Bed comfortable and clean along with the other rooms. Reasonably quiet area of the town. Shop around the corner convenient.

T.V. channels very basic. Wifi reception alright for 2 days then non-existent for the other 2 days we stayed, could not get back on there! View out the rear of property was overlooked by block of flats, so a net curtain would be better in front of window. The kettle was too close to the sink which was a safety issue! We think these things could be easily remedied by the company to improve peoples stay.

Great location, clean and well looked after. It is my first choice of accommodation when staying in Jersey. Was upgraded to the larger property which is just as great as the smaller ones, well equipped and plenty of space.
