"Great place to stay, lots of room"

I don’t think the photos did it justice and the apartment was much better than I expected. it’s over two levels and I liked having a lot of space. We enjoyed the full kitchen and comfortable beds. it’s about a 30ish min walk to the main part of St Helier but we like to get our steps up so perfect for us. The bus is also easy to get, my husband caught it home once or twice when he didn’t want to walk up the hill.

The flat was spacious, well equipped and had comfortable beds. Good shower and well serviced We didn't have our own transport but there were two different buses that went into town and a good shop 3 mins walk away

"Good for business travelers, not for holidaymakers."

The apartment we stayed in was spacious and clean but the location felt sterile and soulless. Also, it’s not really within what I consider walking distance to the city centre. I think these facilities are more geared towards business travellers. I would not recommend it for holidays or families with children. We spent our days exploring the island and only came back to the apartment to eat and sleep. If you’re travelling for business, this is not a bad place to stay. However, if you’re looking for holiday accommodation, I would give Uplands a pass.

"Nice place"

good location. claenliness excellent

There is a loud pumping sound coming from the roof area above the apartment that starts and lasts for about 15 mins. This can be at any time, and was 2 AM in the morning on one occasion. It happened many times during my stay.

"Wonderful weather and plenty of things to do."

There was no provision for recycling, and no mention of how it could be done in the community eg at a bottle bank. I felt uncomfortable putting waste I could have recycled at home in the general bin. Improvement needed in future!

Very convenient situated self catering apartment. Clean and well appointed. Milk and bottled water was very kindly left for our arrival which was much appreciated. Getting into the lockbox was simple. Quiet location. Parking space for one car right outside apartments.

Can’t think of anything.
