Great location outside St Helier as we had a car but it may have been different without one.

Limited cooking equipment eg one small frying pan for a property that could hold 5 people. No medium sized mixing bowls or jugs. Plates that exploded in the microwave ( with no warning that this might happen). No information about recycling or rubbish disposal.

It was clean and spacious

In booking.com there was mention of a welcome pack and one the renters in April commented on how good it was. A welcome pack which includes milk and basic condiments such as salt and pepper and such things as kitchen roll is important if you are arriving late at night and are travelling by plane. ( see photo of welcome pack we received below) When I complained an officious manager called round with his clip board to tell me in no uncertain terms that self catering meant exactly that and it was not the Jersey way to provide anything! Not a good welcome! My advise is to book somewhere else Jersey people go out of their way to make tourists feel welcome Uplands apartments need to learn from the locals and endeavour to be more hospitable

Beds were dreadful! Settee not big enough, needs some modernisation.

Gave us space and freedom with a young family

No airer to dry swimming and beach clothes

Very clean, quite spacious, full of all amenities you could need.

Clear instructions sent beforehand and easy to put into operation.

Hot showers, quiet

Needs more instructions for electric cooker (we have never used electric before). Needs more information on recycling and rubbish collection (we would have put out the bin but didn’t know what day).
