No 1 The Paragon

Spacious location right in centre of Bath, with very comfortable living space and bedroom.

Parking a 12 minute walk away in public car park, would advise dropping off bags at property before parking up. - this was well communicated before stay.

The property is in a good location within easy reach of shops, restaurants and central Bath. The seating in the main room is very comfortable and the sitting room is attractive. The kitchen has most things you would want for a stay , well equipped and goods to have things like Kitchen rolls and tea and coffee. The bathroom is good , shower is easy to use. Bedroom is large and has good storage and lighting. Large windows mean the flat is bright and airy with great views over the city. It's warm and welcoming. Easy access on arrival and only up 1 flight of stairs.

The bed is OK, not the best , a bit too soft and I think is 2 beds together so there is a 'dip' in the middle. The TV has good streaming services but needs a new arial as it is impossible to view terrestial chanels. Could not find a wi fi log in.

The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of Bath centre. The views from the lounge and kitchen were fantastic. The bed was possibly the most comfortable one in existence!!! This is ideal accommodation for a couple. The property was very clean and well presented.

Minor gripes really so don’t be put off! TV only worked properly via smart apps, terrestrial signal was poor. Kitchen equipment could have done with a tin opener and an oven glove.

Beautiful apartment, photos don’t do it justice. And Jane Austen has stayed there for a time. All original cornicing, beautiful high ceilings and toasty and warm. Perfect location…. Could walk to all the sights easily within 10 minutes. And the views over Bath were just gorgeous. Very clean throughout and lovely bed linen. Very comfy bed! Gill the host was great with the perfect amount of communication. Our parking was paid for which was a really lovely gesture. There is some noise from the street but totally expected as you are staying in a city! Apartment is well equipped with everything you could need. We felt very privileged to stay in such an historic apartment.
