Halifax House, Studio Apartment 214

It was ok for the price paid and central location

There isn’t actually any parking as stated for more than 4 hrs on bay on the road maximum stay is 4 hrs so we got a ticket. Looks clean on first inspection but needs tlc. Loose tiles in bathroom and oven/ cooker hood and microwave was dirty 😩 The shower head is broken had to remove to shower as it kept falling off

Not being able to get hold of the host for approx 45 mins to find out the code to get in the room

Location was great and loved the apartment it was very clean and had everything we needed. Access was easy and even though you do not see staff they kept in touch my email with all the instructions needed

The heat in the room was too much. There was a fan but it wasn't the greatest. Even though the apartment was lovely. I didnt sleep. Maybe air con would be good for hotter months to keep it comfortable.

There was a dirty sheet packed into the pull out bed. the bed wouldn’t pull out unless turned around the other way, as the TV table / cabinet was in the way, and if it had would have blocked the way to the bathroom from the bedroom. We could have done with a cooking dish, so bought one for ourselves. We didn’t notice until we needed it that there was some cutlery missing. Ate out on second night so not really worth getting them replaced immediately but did make aware on leaving so they couple be replenished for the next guests.
