Lovely 2BDR Ground floor Apt By Diakonia Residences Birmingham With Private Terrace

Location, good size apartment, parking and relatively quiet considering it is a ground floor flat in the middle of a city centre

Quite a few lightbulbs out, parking instructions weren't sent out beforehand (although the lady on the phone was extremely helpful), no tea towel

Kept. From entering property for 3 hours due to delay. With my bank authoring £1 payment .staff from property not helpful at all

The living room was the best thing about this apartment

BEWARE, THEY REQUIRE £250 DEPOSIT THAT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED YET, I checked out on the 21st of October and till this day (11 Nov) I haven’t received my deposit . When I first came, the property was in a very filthy condition. the bathroom was very dirty and had black mole on it. Additionally, the kitchen was filthy as well where most of the walls were filled with oil build up that wasn’t cleaned for a long time. They claimed there is a parking space included with the property, however the key fob doesn’t open the garage

Great location two mins walk from The Mailbox and bars and restaurants on canal. 15 min walk to centre. Comfortable and clean.

Only received instructions to enter the property in the morning of our stay with a link to pay £1 to enable holding deposit. Didn't mind doing that but should be done in advance as per earlier review. Had to chase up several times to get parking instructions. Also received parking fine in underground car park despite following the instructions and using permit provided. No response to my message on this as per previous traveller. This needs sorting! Bit noisy in evening with people walking past late - ground floor so more of an issue.
