I loved the whole layout, how it was set up. Perfect little cabin for us to stay with our little ones. The owners were very welcoming and lovely, introduced themselves and offered any help if needed.

I don’t think I have a negative thing to say, just when your following the postcode to the address, don’t turn right at the turning, go past and you’ll see Pienook on the right, with a gravel drive.

Our time in the PieNook was above and beyond our expectations. Our hosts could not have been kinder, friendlier, more helpful nor more welcoming. But they also gave us plenty of space and privacy too. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The feather and down pillows and duvets meant that coming home to my own bed felt like a significant down-grade! The provision of a fan was an added bonus. The bathroom was great and the shower was surprisingly good. The simple cooking equipment there enabled us to cook some basic meals for ourselves, and the hosts had been so generous with all the food items available (biscuits, hot drinks, juice, milk, scones, granola, yoghurt, fruit, muesli, bread, jams etc). The views were incredible (a hill on one side, beautifully maintained garden and thatched cottage in front, and stunning Dorset lane on the other!) and there is so many wonderful days out on the doorstep. We spent only 2 nights there but wish we had stayed for longer. We agreed that 2 weeks could be easily filled! Though it is a cosy little cabin, it somehow feels generously spacious and we never felt cooped up. It is everything we needed and more.

Arrived to beautiful surroundings, beautiful garden with tree swing, which was the highlight for my 2 grandchildren. log cabin, very well presented. Tea, Coffee, breakfast in fridge, soft farmhouse bread, on the whole a very enjoyable continental style breakfast for our 2 day stay. Lisa, the proprietor, was friendly and welcoming as was her husband. Great choice and will return.

It was beautifully clean and very well looked after. No signs of wear and tear anywhere. I liked the quirky decor. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was small but perfectly formed and the situation and view were wonderful. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk were supplied. There was off road parking and the property had its own entrance and garden. There was a nice terrace with table and chairs with a lovely outlook. We were unlucky with the weather so we didn’t get much opportunity to sit out.

The info said there was a separate bedroom, not true. There was a sofa bed so if there were two more people everyone is in the same room. There was supposedly a stove top and a barbecue but there weren’t. The info said that breakfast was supplied. There was a box of cornflakes, a small white loaf, 4 tiny pots of jam, a dozen butter pats, 4 scones and 2 yogurts. There was also a carton of orange juice. We were there for 3 nights. To me that is not breakfast. The tv was run through a box and supposedly you could stream Netflix. We couldn’t get it working at all. We have Netflix at home so we know how it works but it didn’t work for us.

Lisa had left us croissants, bread, cereals as well as tea and coffee, which was perfect for us.

Being in the ground of the owners property as it felt intrusive if their privacy, though am sure they don't mind....
