Very quiet location, nice off road walk into Portobello beach. Shower was really good, very practical accommodation.

Great location for the train & only a 7 minute ride into Edinburgh

Lage in der nähe des portobello beach, öffis waren um die ecke- ca. 25 min nach um.in die city zu kommen. Lage ist ruhig. Trish ist freundlich und hilfsbereit- es war eine sehr gute option- da man immer die wahl hatte- in das überfüllte edinburgh oder an den den leeren strand zu gehen...

Ongeveer 5 minuten lopen van het station. Binnen 10 minuten met de trein in het centrum. Leuke locatie, goed verzorgd. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar.

Location is excellent for Brunstane train station down the road into city and the number 44 bus not far and direct into city. Portobello beach an easy direct walk of about 15 mins and a lovely beach front. Studio flat with everything you need and host Trish very available and helpful as living next door.

I was happy and nothing to note to dislike.

The place is lovely to stay in, and, with reliable bus services, it's easy enough to get into Edinburgh city. The facilities of the place are easy to use and accessible, and there are additional perks like a ready-to-use dvd collection (nice and nostalgic for some of us). There's lots of natural light (I stayed in the summer) and Trish, the host, is lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area. I would definitely stay here again.

The floor is tiled throughout most of the place; though this makes it easy to clean, it does mean the floor is a little chilly in the morning.

-Locatie is super; vlakbij strand en supermarkt, Edinburgh centrum zeer makkelijk per spoor te bereiken. Treinstation op paar minuten wandelen. -Voorzieningen zoals toilet, douche, keuken. Messen voor snijden groente en dergelijke wel erg bot. Zou geslepen of vervangen moeten worden.

-Donkere kamer -Relatief smalle kamer -Tweede 'bed' (=bedbank) is redelijk hard. Tweede dekbed was welkom geweest ipv verschillende spreien die overigens wel voldoende warmte boden.

Perfect location for public transport, less than 10 minutes from the city centre by train and bus stop is close too. Apartment is situated in a nice quiet residential area. Very clean and comfortable. Quirky character, nicely furnished. Communication was helpful and friendly. Shower was hot and good pressure! Nice little kitchen facilities too.

Only very tiny minor things - a couple of the rugs on the shiny tiles nearly sent me flying, could do with some rubber backing for safety. The shower itself is a little small but otherwise great - maybe add corner shelves for toiletries. Mattress was quite soft, but just my personal preference for a firmer mattress.

Great location, well-equipped, very nice owner - I highly recommend!

Location was good for my purposes. Nice quiet area.

Lack of heating when the weather turned cold and damp. Heated towel rails that didn’t seem to work. Rugs without a non-slip backing on a tiled floor.
