The Coates Gardens Residence

Really close to Haymarket station. Quiet neighbourhood. Loveley decor. We really enjoyed the table in front of the windows.

It was convenient to the city. The kitchen was good and well appointed. It was compfortable enough.

I asked about parking and was told that there was no designated parking but that there was parking in the street. The street parking comprised of parking on one side of the road that was for residents only. On the other side of the road the parking was limited to 4 hours between 8.30am - 6 (or was it 6.30) pm at a cost of GBP 4.95 an hour. What were we to do with 2 cars??? The pots at the front door with dead plants in them, the filthy porch and the dirty and untidy entrance hall did not give a good first impression. The TV had Foxtel but no code to get into it. We seemed unable to watch free to air TV as well. The bathroom was adequate. The mixer tap on the basin needs to be changed so that the water doesn't splash down into the cupboard underneath.

good location near restaurants and transportation. easy to access. very large area and well equipped kitchen. bedrooms and bath were nice sized with huge windows!

Location excellent. Ideal for trams, trains, buses and walking.

Faulty microwave. Dripping kitchen tap. Old foodstuffs left in fridge. Dusty services and kitchen and bathroom not thoroughly clean. Slightly tired decor and bathroom could do with an overhaul. Badgered by cleaners to vacate an hour before checkout! Rude and intimidating!
