Castle Properties: The Duchess, 3 Bed Family cottage

The location is very central

I must admit that location is very centrally located and was convenient for parking places, main attractions, restaurants and shopping. However, after paying €1,955 for our stay, I was very disappointed with what I found inside the house. - I booked for 7 people, 6 adults and 1 child (8 years). We only had 3 double beds and we had to squeeze in our child. - The Floor carper was very dirty, and seemed that it has not been cleaned for these past years - walls were very dirty and really need rendering - the oven had damaged knobs which was unusable - The walls all over the premises had cracks - windows were full of webs, which showed a great lack of cleanliness - A sofa bed was at ground floor, however no bed sheets were found. The pillows found in a cabinet in the area had blood dents on it, absolutely unusable! - In addition, while booking, the fact that the house is adjacent to an old cemetery is never mentioned anywhere or shown in photos!

Quaint old cottage nicely set up for short stay. Excellent location with all Windsor facilities in short walking distance. Well equipped kitchen. Peaceful location close to small park.

Perfect location

False advertising Didn’t have 3 bathrooms with walk in shower. Terrible seating in sitting room. Couldn’t seat 6 people around the kitchen table for breakfast. Decor tired.

Location, amenities

Good location . Within walking distance of Windsor Centre. Also minutes away from lego land . I like how all the family could stay in one space in comfort too. Also I managed to get free overnight parking for the 2 days I was there .
