Castle Properties: The Duchess, 3 Bed Family cottage

Western Cottage is a beautiful, quaint old building full of character. The location was amazing, 2 minute walk into the main shopping street if you take the short cut by through Acre Passage. We enjoyed our stay as a family here.

Location

The bathrooms had a damp smell and not that clean, lounge vey small for party of 6. The house was infested with ladybirds!!! Never seen so many everywhere.

Great location for walking into windsor, shops, restaurants and castle with a few minutes walk. Holds 6 comfortably and the front room has a pull out sofa bed, so could hold 8 or children. Very clean, quite charming old style cottage

Parking- it doesn't have any, so you need to park 10 mins away the public carpark is quite expensive but very safe and has cameras. It's not great for those with mobility issues as its three stories and the stairs are quite steep.

Excellent location in the centre of Windsor, walking distance to castle, shops and restaurants. Lovely big kitchen. Three bathrooms, perfect for four women!

The property is beautiful on its own, with excellent location and well decorated and clean.

Great location, so central and host was amazing. We messaged about something needing doing, just to let them know and they came straight round to sort it out. Also I thought I left my watch there and they let me go back and look for it. Really kind and helpful.

The video guidance and Web page are excellent, very informative. There was tea, coffee and sugar waiting along with kitchen paper! Tissue boxes in each of the rooms was a nice touch and there was plenty of loo roll. The property has 3 toilets which is great, the beds were all super comfy and the property is ideally located only one street away from the castle! Would deffinately stay again.

Excellent location and well appointed property. Perfect for exploring Windsor and surrounding areas. Quirky layout due to being in a historic building was lovely, although if you have issues with steep and narrow stairs this might not be the property for you. Car parking is challenging in the area, paid parking available within an easy walk however free parking is 2km+ away. Castle Properties were very responsive, great host!

Amazing location. And really good value for money for Windsor. The hosts were extremely polite and really efficient with check in communications. A very quirky little house with some lovely traditional features.
