location is ideal to walk in to York City. Very boutique.

The oven had a burned potato wedge still inside. The Shower entrance sides is very black and need a deep clean. The bedroom had unknown hair on the floor. The heating is only accessible if you call and ask? Quite a few light bulbs need replacing. On top of the £372.60 paid. An additional £14,95 Service Charge. Cleaning fee £34.95. Wait for it Electricity £8,95, Loaded £58.85! Why was it just not advertised as £431.45?

it was fabulous. ideal location. bed was really comfortable. if you need something someone has thought of it and it’s there.

there was nothing I didn’t like. the only problem I had was it was a basement apartment ( I didn’t realise) and I have a disability but we managed. made things a bit difficult but we just got on with it. From a disabled person view a shelf in the shower would be good as trying to bend down to pick up shampoo bottles is difficult but with that said we loved this property

Location is very good. And parking is easy and always available. Hosts were easily contactable and made an attempt to fix issues but none were actually fixed whilst we were there apart from (already when arrived) broken glasses being replaced. Additionally though help was offered with the heating but better instructions for the thermostat at the top of the stairs would be more informative. The living room is big and the placing of a dining suite there is a good place to eat. Good number of channels on TV. Kitchen is well equipped. Instructions for appliances in the apartment are good. Instructions for accessing the apartment were clear and easy to follow. The shower is powerful and lovely and hot.

The biggest issue with this apartment are the extremely noisy neighbours. Stayed 3 nights and 2 of those nights sleep was interrupted by loud (pub/nightclub volume) music being played and singing into microphones until 1am both nights. This could be heard across the entire apartment so you couldn’t get away from it. The hosts offered to try and locate the source of the noise but it was from a property located next door to theirs. We called the police it was that excessive. We would not stay there again because of this. Other reviewers have reported the same so this wasn’t a one off. Additionally we stayed Tuesday-Friday so this wasn’t a weekend thing. Also the apartment is described as luxury and it may have been once but it’s very tired now with broken sockets, sink plugs, marked walls and paintwork, missing light bulbs, carpet, furniture stains and chips and holes out of doors. The heating is difficult to control and the apartment overheats very easily (I felt ill with how hot it got) despite following the instructions left for us. It is only the noisy neighbours that would prevent us staying again though.

the property was very close to the city centre making it very convenient and only a short walk to everything local. the facilities were fairly clean and we found the property quite cozy and comfortable and the property hosts would always get back to us within the hour if anything was wrong.

the neighbours upstairs were VERY loud during the day and throughout the night with loud footsteps and music. the footsteps were even shaking the ceiling light multiple times! on arrival there was also faeces marks down the toilet and glasses were still dirty.
