The Crows Nest

Great little village for a weekend stay. The flat is perfectly located for a cosy weekend while enjoying the local amenities. The hosts were attentive and considerate and made the stay that much better

Nothing...everything was ideal

Really spacious and comfortable apartment right in the centre of Eyemouth's old quarter. All the facilities you need - shops, pubs, restaurants, public transport. - are literally on the doorstep. It was a perfect base from which to walk sections of the Berwickshire Coastal Path

Not a "didn't like" as such. But the bath is a a rather fancy jacuzzi, which would be great I imagine to use (we didn't) but is rather high to get in and out of. Which can be quite slippy if you've just had a shower. Another handrail might be good.

Clean, spacious apartment with a short walk to shops and the beach. Good sized bathroom, good kitchen, though a freezer would be useful for a longer stay.

Location was superb, great view of the evening sunset. Accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. New washing machine very useful. Very dog friendly (as is town)

Shower was a challenge for 6' husband. Stairs up to loft were steep - ok for us but would perhaps be a struggle for some (but then again without the height the view would be lost) A couple of towels need replacing. Loading & unloading a bit of a challenge as no outside parking - it took us a day or two to realise that there is free parking just opposite (not clear that it's not reserved for the properties across the road)
