It’s was a lovely flat ideal for a couple it had everything you needed We took our dog and there was a lovely walk next to the property next to a river Definitely book again

We both like the location was perfect and walks lovely and few shops to look in and a friendly pub as well the fish and chip shop was perfect and very good

There nothing to dislike really definitely go back again but probably 2 nights definitely as not far to other locations to explore

The staff was not responsive at all on the messages!

Great location, large living room area

The drain out the front blocked but they sorted it right away, even in awful weather. Very happy with the response times to our query.

The flat was beautifully appointed.

It’s historically old so they deal with a moisture issue. They are on top of it, but if you have allergies it might be a concern.

Location is good.

On stripping the beds (as many rental agencys request) we found the mattress had no water proof protector and the mattress was covered in stains. not to have any protector and contniuing to use such a filthy matress is disgusting . Property very damp spare duvet was olaced in a damp stained bag ( see picture) Stained dirty furniture Out of date instructions, instructions on how to use a timer that was no longer in the cupboard. light broken in bedroom leaving just one bedside lamp. On booking it was stated that pets were allowed and there might be a charge, once the booking was made and paid, for an email arrivved stating that we had to pay an additional 50 pounds for cleaning. this amount was more per day then we have ever paid at any property, they are not using this fee to clean/update the furniture or matress to an hygienic standard. This property was booked at the last minute to extend our holiday in Cornwall. we stay a few times a year n Cornwall and have never encoutered this type of problem. Companies renting proerties like this give the tourist industry a bad name. Very disappointing

The property was lovely it had all you need, including a cosy fireplace. The village was very welcoming, everyone was so kind from the hardware store that sells everything to the Visions hair salon lady who was so nice, both gave great tips of things to do locally.

There was a lot of condensation inside especially in the bedroom. There was no safe way to leave windows partly open for the cottage to ventilate as it is on the ground floor and very close and visible to the main road. I would suggest to put safety locks on the windows maybe? We left the window in bathroom open after using the shower as instructed but that didn’t help much. A dehumidifier would not be enough to fix this. It didn’t rain during our stay expect for the first night. Because of the above there was quite a lot of mould behind the furniture and not as clean behind doors etc as I had hoped. My youngest daughter suffers from allergies and I was worried about the air quality. Shame as the cottage itself is really lovely and decoration perfect. I had secretly hoped for (as I booked to for myself and my two daughters) that the guest bed would have been made already like they do in hotels, as only the double bed was ready for use. After a long drive from London with lots do traffic I did not really enjoy opening the bed getting the duvet out of bag putting the sheets on and making the single bed when paying quite a lot for the 5 nights.

It was slightly damp, but probably due to it needing a good airing.

Location was good.

Unfortunately the property was not clean with dirty dishes left unwashed in the dishwasher, dirty glasses in the cupboard, lots of dead flies on the windowsill and also cobwebs. We could hear the person in the flat above using the toilet.
