Apartment 4 The Grove

Fantastic location lovely easy walk into Durham along the river via the back gate Clean spacious apartment with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.

No car park for flats 3 & 4 as building work was being done, maybe where car park used to be.? When I rang to enquire where to park the young man said park it in the lane there’s room for two cars …. there wasn’t, so we parked in car park below in the spaces meant for. flats 1&2 🤷‍♀️

We were in Durham for our son’s Uni graduation so the apartment was in a fab location. Rooms were a good size and very clean.

Keys didn’t fit initially and had to call someone to help. Key to outer door was sticky, quite tricky to open

Location is excellent, good amenities, good value for money.

There was a lot of spiders in the bathroom which hadn't been cleaned away, so felt a bit dirty in there. There were also no oven gloves so had to use tea towels.

It had all the basic requirements for a short stay

It was a little dark but not enough to spoil our stay

The property was very close to the city centre with great access to the main attractions. There was also a fully stocked kitchen with great appliances and cooking facilities to help cook for the family. Parking on sight. A home feel for my family while being on holidays.

quiet, perfect location. about 15 minute walk into the centre of Durham. Staff were very helpful. Property was very clean and comfortable.
