JB Apartments, Fully Equiped Ground Floor Apartment

The key is very difficult to open.

Het is dicht bij het station en je bent zo in het centrum van Londen. Ook een mooie supermarkt om de hoek. Grote bank en prima bad en douche. Ook de zithoek was prima. Tv mooi groot. Wifi was erg goed.

We kwamen binnen en het rook niet fris, het riool was duidelijk te ruiken en dat rook je ook soms op straat. Je zit in een appartement op de begane grond. Mensen buiten zijn luid en ook mensen in het gebouw slaan hard met de deuren en hoor je tot in de late uurtjes(twee nachten van de drie) De keuken was opzich schoon maar we hadden maar een theedoek en spons. De kraan van de keuken lekte en als je in de woonkamer slaapt is dit heel vervelend. Ook dat bed ligt niet comfertabel en de hoes er om heen was stuk en oud. Ook niet genoeg servies en bestek voor vier personen. Wij hebben er niet gekookt want we vonden de pannen niet meer oke. Vier handdoeken maar twee zaten vol bleek vlekken. Deze waren wel schoon. Verder is het niet overal even schoon. Wc borstel was echt vies. Tapijt in de slaapkamers mag vervangen worden.

The location was very good, just a few steps from the metro and train station. The apartment was big, fully equipped and pretty clean. There is also a big supermarket in the other side of the street. Heating is very easy to use and comfy. I will consider it again when I come back to London. The price was very convenient.

The communication with the host hasn’t been exactly easy. Before departing I asked him to get two keys cause we were in a group and we needed two keys in case we split up. He didn’t give us two keys at check in, we needed to ask him again but he cooperated and gave us the second key the following day. The building wasn’t very inviting though, there was a lot of dirt outside and a big mountain of trash bags waiting to be collected by operators. The neighborhood is well connected to the city but it’s pretty far from the center and there is not much to do and to eat. You need to take metro to find some restaurants. Sofa bed isn’t much comfortable but still decent if your stay isn’t too long.

Location was great, next to train station with supermarket over the road. It was warm once all the heaters were running.

It could have been cleaner. I scrubbed all the pots before I could use them. There was no everyday staples like salt and pepper, tea, coffee, paper towel.

Possibility of self check-in, close distance to subway and shop, large apartment

long response time from the owner, cold on arrival at the accommodation (it would be enough to turn on the heating before the client's arrival), creaky bed, the smell in the hallway and the smell of marijuana in the bathroom, there was no cloth to wipe the dishes, not enough cutlery (tea spoons)

excellent location, the host was very communicative and gave clear directions on how to enter the property, all facilities were clean and tidy

Only place of improvement would be that the door requires a key to enter and lock the door from the inside, and we only got one key. As a group of friends going to a convention and doing out own thing on some days, we had to organise swapping the key around a lot. Perhaps a lock box or a coded entry would make this simpler for groups like ours. Allowing the door to lock/unlock from the inside without the key would also help.

Convenient location on the Elizabeth Line

A multitude of issues at this property and the owner. Little to no hot water on multiple nights during our stay with a very dated hot water system in place. When we informed the owner of the issue, they advised to run the hot water for a long period to no avail and when we informed them of the ongoing issues we were ignored. No airer to dry our clothes and rather than provide this to us, we were enquired as to why we needed this for 6 nights stay. If a washing machine is provided, an airer should be provided. They informed us that they would provide but this was never provided and our follow up texts were ignored. In addition, the property was not clean upon arrival with half opened water and coke bottles left in the fridge. Poor condition of pots and pans which are unusable and require replacement. Broken dining chairs which appear to have already previously been mentioned as an issue in previous reviews which were not replaced, despite stating that an order was placed - no alternative chairs were provided in the interim making dinner and lunch meals difficult for the family. Difficult/broken door mechanism which would benefit from replacement. The only benefit to this property is convenience to the Elizabeth Line but aside from that, the landlord was difficult to communicate to and requests frequently ignored demonstrating a poor quality and standard of service for an apartment rental. Overpriced for the condition and stressful experience with the landlord/owner. Hoping that the landlord makes improvements if continues to rent this property.
