JB Apartments, Fully Equiped Ground Floor Apartment

The apartment has two bedrooms and a living room with an open space kitchen. The location was convenient, near Sainsbury's supermarket and Abbey Wood tube station. The beds were very confortable and the apartment had a big screen TV with a large sofa.

The kitchen, although modern, was very dirty. The cooking utensils were very old, dirty and scratched, practically impossible to use. The kitchen appliances were dirty and the refrigerator smelled very bad. It was impossible to prepare coffee and tea, and we had to buy a new frying pan to prepare the breakfast. The chairs in the living room are broken and very dirty, they cannot be used safely. We only received 4 bath towels (2 in good condition, 2 heavily used) and no face towels.

Location is right off Abby Wood station, without the noise, so it is super convenient (especially if you have bulky luggages) Great to have washing machines and drying rack.

The cleanliness of this house is very questionable. There are visible stains on chairs, toilets and beddings. House owner claims everything is cleaned before our arrival, the photos doesn’t lie. I do not dare to sit on that chair (see photo). No aircon. Also, facilities reliability are in doubt. The water heating broke down one night (possibly the water in the top was not properly covered with a lid leading to evaporation) and I could not get help to fix it overnight. Eventually I have to figure that out myself and top up the water at the storage in order to get the heater back in order.
