"A very good stay due the host being so understanding"

We had a few little problems - but the host Dave was exceptional - even to the point of buying a new dining room table and chairs and a new double matress! Wow - thank you Dave - if we need to come back and stay in Gravesend again we will be staying with you.

The dining room chairs were uncomfortable - and as soon as i mentioned this to Dave he ordered a brand new dining set straight away! There is also a brand new double mattress at the property now for the same reason - well done Dave for being so understanding!

Good sized rooms, very comfortable beds. the 2 toilets were great. Especially liked the garage to keep our car safe at night. The house had everything we were hoping for i.e. iron, kettle, hairdryer, etc. everything was fantastic.

The remote for the tv does not work properly. It could be old batteries or just broken. Some buttons work fine whereas some don’t at all. The bathroom door lock in the bottom floor is broken. It would be nice to have a curtain or blinds on the back door. frying pans also not nonstick

"Big & comfortable house for the family"

Vale house is a big, clean, cosy & comfortable house. We stayed for three weeks and had a great stay. A big plus is that we could bring our dog with us as it’s difficult to find a place that allows dogs. Owner responded really quickly to my messages. Also, we forgot some items in the property and kindly he sent them to us

Great property, with simple access arrangements and a very responsive host. Lovely garden, comfy living accommodation and beds. Plenty large enough for my friends and I. Quality internet with easy connection instructions. Nice and close to Brands Hatch, too!

Being really picky, the kitchen lacked a couple of homely conveniences, such as a pizza cutter, measuring jug and pyrex oven dish. Freeview TV box was a budget model, so not the best, but it worked, so can't really complain.

"Passable"

5.0

Bathroom has sewrage smell and shower and bathroom leaking water. Floor made seqeey noise. Not happy with smell
