Lottie's Lookout, Ventnor with fantastic Sea Views

The location has nice sea views, the accommodation was comfortable, warm and well equipped and the parking was helpful.

I would say location wise that it would unsuitable for guests who have mobility difficulties. My wife and friend could not cope with the steepness of the roads around the apartment - this was not apparent in the guest information when booking. Also, in the on-suit bedroom toilet the shower had small areas of black mould on the lower tiling and the sink plunger had black mould under the stopper which was a little unsightly. The main bedroom bathroom used by our friend, had a toilet flush that didn't work properly and wasn't clean. These are small but I think important points to raise.

Spacious and comfortable.

The steps in to your property was unsafe needed addressing. To high not wide. Need to put shower mat in shower as floor slippery when wet.plus you could put a little shampoo rack.

Beautiful spacious flat, best equipped accommodation we've ever had - and we self cater a lot. Appreciated the welcome box and milk in the fridge.

The only negatives are the location up above the town - short distance but very steep coming back - and the lack of any outside space. Minor negatives, as it's a great flat.

Large spacious flat. Nice comfortable furnishings. Kitchen well equipped for a holiday stay. A goody box was supplied and a pint of milk. The milk was definitely much appreciated for a cuppa after a long journey. The view from the front rooms of the accommodation is of the lower village and sea, which is lovely to gaze upon first thing in the morning with a cuppa. We had a bit of a leak from the boiler one morning, which was dealt with very promptly.

On entering the flat, it smelt musty and damp. We opened all windows and purchased airfreshers. The little garden area to the side is out of bounds (red warning tape) due to disrepair and dodgy stone steps. Also, overgrown but maintenance gardeners did come and cut it all back on Tuesday. The back of the accommodation faces a stone wall and tiny yard, which makes the back rooms a bit dark. The ensuite to the middle bedroom doesn't have a vent. There is a small window, but it is difficult to access. Which caused the flat to smell very damp.

Lottie's lookout had a lovely view of the sea, spacious lounge and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were really comfortable and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a few provisions. Overall an amazing stay, thank- you!

Our only issue was trying to get the shower in the main bathroom hot, but we let the owners know who said they would look at this. It didn't spoil our stay.

The location was great and a lovely view from the lounge. Very quiet and peaceful.

Not a grumble but could do with having a wardrobe in the 2nd double bedroom so that you have somewhere to hang your clothes.
