Danbury Lodge Penthouse

Location was brilliant, very well kept and looked after family home, very inviting and welcoming property!

We couldn’t gather how the oven worked? Uncertain if it was switched on at the mains, Bedroom was cold on an evening, rest of the radiators worked perfectly however the bedroom didn’t seem to

The location was set upon a steep hill, which was no problem for us to walk. The views were exceptional, especially of the hillside, High Tor, and of course the cable cars taking tourists up to the Heights of Abraham. You can walk everywhere from it's location. The amenities were plentiful and a nice touch with the chocy cakes and hot chocolate. It's a spacious flat with THE most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. 10/10 for a memorable stay. Nothing really.

Keys were left in the lock for us. The host had sent detailed directions on how to find the house which were spot on, and easy to follow even in the dark. Parking was a little tricky (reversing uphill round a corner in to a narrow drive) but we had an Audi A1 so this was fine. Would be tough with a larger vehicle as manouvering was tight, but the hosts had larger vehicles and managed fine. Fantastic location with great views making it worth while being uphill. Was met by the host for a friendly chat which was greatly appreciated.

Nothing really - all great. Perhaps a 2 person coffee pot to add to the kitchen?

Perfect as always. Our friends adored Danbury Lodge and have already asked when our next visit is. Despite this being our third time here, we never get bored returning. If anything, we look forward to it more so. Richard and Cath were amazing as always. Thank you for making our October stay great.

Absolutely stunning property set against beautiful scenery what more could you ask for! There wasn't anything I'd change, the facilities were perfect, there wasn't anything that was missing. All in all 10/10 experience and will be staying again at some point!
