On the Strand

Location was very good and property easy to find. The parking was great, own bay right next door.

The duvet was very crumpled. Both duvet and a pillow had small stains on...No egg cups or measuring jug...everything else well provided for. Very clean otherwise

Quality kitchen, well equipped. Comfortably and tastefully furnished. Alexa. Excellent location overlooking town and canal. Houseplants. Good bath towels.

The shower itself is great but the grouting needs re-bleaching. The outside of the property is rather tired. But the positives outweighed these two negatives.

Location was brilliant, and having parking in Rye was a real bonus. The apartment was really well fitted out and looked lovely. Communications were clear and friendly and the hosts were very helpful forwarding 'forgotten' items for us. Highly recommend

Loft on the Strand is in an excellent location for exploring Rye and enjoying the walks in its surrounding countryside. It is only a few minutes walk to the famous Mermaid Street in Rye and all the great restaurants and bars it has to offer. It is also only about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the nature reserve and a wonderful walk around there via Camber Castle and down to Winchelsea Beach. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, with comfy furnishings and high spec equipment. We had a very comfortable stay there and the private parking was incredibly helpful as well and good that it was off the road. All in all we had a wonderful stay at Loft on the Strand and are looking forward to going back in the future.

Lovely property with all facilities needed for a weekend away. Location was great to explore Rye by foot and easy walking distance to all major sights. The owners provided lots of information in advance as requested and a great arrival guide with lots of local recommendations. They were also able to accommodate our request for an early check in and late check out which was incredibly helpful.

A beautifully converted loft space, which has been done very tastefully. Extremely convenient location, about 30 second walk to the bottle of Rye town. The beds were comfortable and everything we could think of had been provided. Would highly recommend and we will be back next time we visit Rye.

It was fine for us but I wouldn’t recommend for someone who has mobility issues as there are around 2-3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The bedroom did get quite warm in the night but the owner had already fan in the apartment that could be used and this worked for us.
