The location was exceptional and had everything we needed to stay for a few days.

The apartment was on the smaller side, but we were only in the apartment to sleep and shower before going out into the city.

"A very pleasant stay in the hearth of Edinburgh"

The central location is easily accessible and provides a vast majority of major attractions in the Edinburgh. It is very easy to use public transport to get anywhere you want. The apartment was very clean, had all the things one expects to find in there. The beds very supercomfy! Area is quiet during the evenings and the local shops and market around are within reach if a need arises. Would gladly return once I'm back to Edinburgh.

The location was great. The castle entrance was 6-8 minutes walk away. There are plenty of restaurants within the local area, and a Sainsbury within 100m to buy light groceries. The small flat had adequate heaters that kept us warm during the chilly, damp weather.

Check-in was at 3. We arrived a few minutes past 3 and someone was still cleaning the flat. The cleaning staff was so rushed that they left a pile of used tissues that were used to clean. The check-in instructions wanted us to leave a set of keys in the lockbox while there. This policy would leave the customer at risk of theft; this felt more likely after a stranger knocked on the door during our stay muttering something like "This must be the wrong AirBnB." The water pressure for the shower wasn't that strong and the water heater needed some time to recharge for a family of four to have consecutive hot showers.

The location was just perfect for everything we wanted to do and see. Our host, Gavin, was exceptional with sorting everything out for me, nothing was too much trouble. The property really did have everything you needed.

Absolutely nothing. It was just perfect.
