Spacious Central Chic Apartment - Simplycheckin

This flat is in the high street of this lovely little town! The location could not be more convenient! The train and bus station is a 10 minute walk filled with interesting views in every direction. The building is historical and unique with adequate supplies for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the convenience of washing machine and drying racks on site. Plenty of space for a family but we were only a couple. The street below was lively throughout the day but not too noisy after dark as there is only foot traffic below.

The housekeeping deposit (paid separately) presented a slight challenge due to having booked via Booking.com site and coming from Canada.

Location was perfect and apartment spacious.

Location and facilities. Plenty of hot water and tea, coffee supplies. Warm and comfortable.

Location was perfect, right on the high street and next to a lovely bakery.

There was no hot water in the shower for the duration of our stay, which was over Christmas. The host requested we didn’t contact him unless there was water coming through the ceiling as he was overseas. We did not bother him, however feel there should have been someone available to help. Felt the hosts response to the issue was very poor - no apology and actually accusations that we were not using the shower properly. The shower has 2 buttons so impossible to do this wrong. Wouldn’t stay again and would recommend the host set up a managing agent/ cover when he is unavailable

Very great central location, literally on the high street. Friendly host, clean apartment great value for money.

The Christmas lights outside in the street don't turn off so it was incredibly bright at night even with the blinds - pack an eye mask! I had to pay an extra security deposit but it was refunded as soon as we had checked out.

Central location. Everything by foot. It is a spaceous appartment with basic needs. Swift reply from owner with regard to encountered problems and said was gonna fix certain things straight away (wobbly dining table).

Your go to for one or two nights needing a central location. This central means constant sound/noise as it is with single glazing right on top of the high street. It provides basic needs but do not expect an appartment with soul or high comfort. Lengthy process before arrival (providing additional info and deposit). Had to ask afterwards to get my deposit back.

Location was good

Not all lights worked, shower went from cold to boiling, no hooks in bathroom or bedroom. A lot of noise from the flat above.
