Amazing location

Given the location on the main street, black out curtains would help. This would remove the light from the street lights and adverts outside and help to further dampen the (often loud) street noise.

Ideal location, comfortable, had everything we needed. Great instructions from the owner that explained everything very well.

Whilst the location is great, the downside being on the high street makes it is very noisy at night. At least there is a Boots across the way and with earplugs, the rest of stay was very comfortable.

Right in the middle of Winchester, you couldn't be more central if you tried. More than enough space for 3 friends and I and the furniture was mostly comfortable.

Lot of noise. There's a second window in the bedrooms to cancel noise but nothing in the living room meaning that you hear pretty much everything even with the windows closed. The windows weren't clean either with quite a build up of dirt inside and out and the window frames could do with renewing.

It was central to everything and comfortable

It was lovely but the shower was quite small.

The location is great, but that's also what makes it difficult to sleep.

It really is impossible to have a good night's sleep here unfortunately. Even with earplugs in there is no escape from the noisy high street. Unbelievably, the host booked maintainence to be carried out at the flat between 7-11 on a Sunday morning. This resulted in two men waking us up at 7.30am on a Sunday morning to install a new hob.

Comfortable, spacious flat with all we needed. On the high street which is pedestrian only so no traffic noise. Very close to the beautiful cathedral and Christmas market.

Only the long trip to the bins down the fire escape with the rubbish
