Great location, would definitely book here again

The location. The TV. The bath was nice.

Unfortunately this is a long list. The property was shabby and run down. It had the feel of a neglected student property. The staircase would have been lethal for young children. The kitchen was poorly equipped: the pans did not work on the induction hob. There was no lock on the bathroom door. The bin in the yard was full to overflowing and there were rats running around. The main bedroom had a bed which looked so unstable that my husband and myself did not dare sleep in it.

Fabulous location. Very cosy, quirky old cottage.

A little noisy, being on the main road. The lovely old fashioned windows did not stay open without something to prop them up.

The location was good. The layout suited us as we are mobile . It was comfortable.

Some of the cutlery/kitchenware was not that clean. Being an old property the back door was hard to open. The glazing in the main bedroom’s catch is broken, making it harder to open the window.

Having our own lovely town house within the Salisbury city centre made this a perfect place to stay. It was really nice and cosy with all facilities needed. Communication with the owners was really nice as a lot of information was communicated via a website and questions were answered promptly and very friendly.

The upper bedroom was really hot. However, the weather we enjoyed was very warm for British standards.

The location of the property is superb, very central and cozy, and has everything you needed. The hosts, Liam and Matt, were fantastic! They communicated well with us, were reassuring, and very friendly. When we had a slight issue with one of the sinks and the shower drain, it was fixed immediately. My friends, visiting UK & Salisbury for the first time, had an enjoyable and memorable stay, thanks to the homely atmosphere of Salisbury Townhouse. Would I recommend it? A very, very big YES!!!

Great location so easy to walk everywhere. The house had everything we needed with shops nearby for last minute food shopping.

The road is busy and traffic noise quite invasive in the evening but thankfully quiet overnight.

Location was fabulously close to the city centre, just a short walk. Although the property is on a reasonably busy main road, the glazing kept out much of the noise so the traffic didn't disturb our sleep. Much of the furniture was reasonably new, with plenty of storage for clothes and the beds and the sofas were very comfortable. Good TV and wifi. The provision of milk, tea, coffee, butter, jams, salt, pepper and cooking oil was much appreciated, thanks. Although there is no long-term parking at the house, there is a huge, reasonably priced and convenient car park just a couple of minutes walk away. The instructions and guidance notes on the app are very helpful.

There were a few missing items when we arrived - no hairdryer, no towels in the kitchen, no toiletries. However, we spoke on the phone with the lovely host Liam, who was very apologetic and super helpful, so we got sorted very quickly.
