"Would use the property again."

10.0

Everything! Great place, and I will use it again. Everything was there that you would need for the stay. The only thing we needed to provide was food and drink.

There is a washing machine, which was nice, but no dryer or clothesline. I had to drag the wet clothes down to the laundromat for drying. The bathroom door lock was a hell to deal with. Had to lean against the door to get it to close and open.

"Stay away from this place, there aout there ."

The location

I walked in and immediately found it dingy. The carpet was filthy, going up stairs the third step was broken and flexed. The list NEVER mentioned the steepness of the stairs. The bathroom was also dingy. I notified the owner and left, I stayed at a hotel and ended up cutting my stay in Salisbury short. The owner made no effort at all.

"Close to restaurants and pubs with all the necessities included in the unit"

Change the instructions so I (and other travelers) do NOT have to scroll to find the details for retrieving the key. The first sentence explains nothing and is incorrect. A bit of editing and it will not cause repeat phone calls to the host. Simple fix. bk

"Good value at half the price I paid"

6.0

The photos don’t really show you the story- it’s a little narrow house on a busy street which has been battered by previous AirBnB occupants. The front door opens immediately into the small sitting room which has space for two sofas but not (when we were there) a table and chairs. The narrow, steep stairs lead up to a bedroom with a good quality bed and decent sized bathroom but the bedroom is so close to a busy noisy street. The quality of the “garden” is debatable, I think it is more of a smokers refuge. The location is good.

"Good"

Good location to explore, it's very central. However it can be challenging with traffic noise in the living room. The house is very quirky and has lots of flair. Be aware of steep narrow stairs.

We rented the place for 5 people. We assumed there would be a fold out couch. Turns out one bed was meant for 3 people. It was fine for us as a family but probably would not be appreciated by a group. There also was no table to sit at and eat. There is a decent place to sit and eat for two people at the kitchen counter/ island. This could work for 5 if foldable high chairs were available.

"Passable"

5.0

Close to town within walking distance from everything in the city, bedding and linen lovely and fresh. We loved Salisbury, beautiful city and well worth a visit.

On a main road so very noisy. Funky smell in the lounge, carpets could do with a clean. Pictures showed table and chairs and there was none so we couldn’t eat together. Needed to clean most items before using them out of the kitchen. Complimentary cereal and jams were 5 months out of date. Couldn’t use the courtyard as it could do with a revamp and weeding etc too grubby to sit out there. Pulled out the sofa bed as my phone fell down there and it was filthy underneath. We paid £565 for 3 nights, so expected it to be a little better kept etc
