Nydsley Hall by Luxury Travel Emproium - 4 Luxury Apartments - 2 with Hot Tubs

It was filthy, had 1 bowl (we bought an extra 2 from the shop), no wine glasses (we bought 1), hot tub hadn’t been cleaned, radiators didn’t work, bath and shower leaked. When we went to bed we found a wet urine stain and the bins weren’t cleaned in the bedrooms. We left a day early and will never return.

Fantastic location for easy access to everything in the town centre and surrounding area. Very comfortable beds and lovely and spacious. Loved the smart TV and the hot tub. Nice to have two loos!

The oven was filthy so we couldn’t use it even though we had intended to. There was no house manual so it was hard to work out how to alter the heating and how to work the TV. Also it is as though the cleaners don’t look above head height as there were a lot of cobwebs.

Very comfortable and well equiped.

The location was excellent and just a short walk from the town. The property was in the country and had nice views. The rooms were good and the bathrooms were also good.

Some instructions for using the TV. Fortunately, our younger children (adults) were able to show us oldies how to use the TV and microwave, but without them, we would have struggled. The garden area seemed a bit untidy and needed some work to make it more welcoming. There was a shortage of plates, and glasses in the kitchen.

There was lots to see round and about the place.

Fantastic location and a great space! We spent 6 nights in the Terrace Suite and we'll be back again if we are in the area. The apartment is roomy with extremely comfortable beds and a great living room to relax in in the evenings. The kitchen is well designed with great amenities. We cooked in multiple dinners and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. It's also quite quiet in the evenings and we slept like the dead while we were there. The high street and its shops and restaurants are just steps away and multiple walks can be accessed right out the door of the building. Just what we were looking for!

I'd love to give this place the highest possible rating but there are a few, little things that hold me back. Our stay would have benefitted from a simple instruction book with a few things like where the trash and recycling bins are located outside. We had to hunt around, and finally ask, to find them. Operation manuals for the kitchen appliances and washer would be helpful too. I was able to google all of these things but that information should be provided (and usually is) when we stay in properties like this. Also, there are just a few signs that the property needs some TLC. Scratches in the wall paint, only 4 spoons in the kitchen, a big stain on the couch, cracked glass on a bedside table, a non-working vent fan in a bathroom etc. It feels like a few days of maintenance are overdue to bring this place back to its full standard. That said, I'd stay again in a heartbeat. I hope the owners don't let the quality of the property slide further.

The decor was shabby, only 2 mugs ,had to buy our own not enough cutlery,no tea towel and not enough mirrors, hot tub in the middle of scruffy garden with broken sweeping brush ,rustybarbecue and extremely slippery steps yo get to it , with no response from owner .
