Central location, it's nice and clean, also very peaceful full

Central location and clean modern apartment. Parking was a bonus.

Would have been nice to have a pint of milk and a bottle of water upon arrival. Sometimes after a long drive it's nice to have a cuppa whilst un packing. Tiny glitch but wouldn't stop me from staying again.

The bed is too hard for my liking, but, I understand that would not be everybody’s experience. Personal preferences. I think a weekend stay, is more bearable than a week sleeping in a hard bed. Also the living room couches are not comfortable. Other than that, everything else is perfect. A bit of a walk from picking the keys up. Especially with a weeks holiday baggage, but having a parking space is worth it. We have stayed there at least 10 times in the past including previous owners. We Just hoped the bed & couches may have been changed, but the location is the key to this property. So would book it again.

Locality, no need for a car when you are this close to everything

Its not a dislike, but there was a washing machine but no dryer. When staying for longer than a weekend that would be handy. Tried 2 laundramts, one was a rip off, the other brilliant. But was 30 minutes walk

Location location location! This place is within walking distance to Shambles and everything else, but without the noise and for traffic in front of the apartment.

The check in and out process is a bit convoluted. It works well for people who need a car park. I would much prefer if it was just a key box outside of the apartment.

We are returning visitors to this wonderful little gem of an apartment. It is spotlessly clean, cosy, and well fitted out with everything you could need and it's fully accessible to me, being mobility restricted. Hidden away from a main street behind a gated community, it is safe and extremely quiet for solo or anxious travellers. The bed is to die for, so comfy, I may or may not have had an afternoon snooze on one day! Stunning views of the church on Goodramgate and York Minster (max 5 min slow walk) and central to all main shopping areas. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in the surrounding areas, meaning you don't need to cook - always a plus! For supplies, there is a Tesco's just across from the Hog Roast shop and also a poundland for cheaper water/juice/drinks on the same road. The apartment is just a short (able-bodied) walk from collecting your keys with a Co-op on route. We are returning for the Viking Festival in February!

There was only one issue we found this time, and it wasn't about the apartment. We travelled from Edinburgh by train, and this time, we found that the front of the station was under repair/ development with no indication where the buses were now leaving from. The bus we used to get now goes nowhere near where you collect your keys, and being mobility restricted with luggage, I found it took us 2 hours (from the Stn) to reach where you collect the keys - admittedly much less for able bodied. 😔 maybe as a courtesy in the welcome pack you email after payment, you could consider putting bus numbers from the station to the key pick-up destination as not everyone drives.
