Minster View Apartment at Talbot Court, York

Location Very quiet Very comfortable

Mirrors set to high at vanity dressing table and bathroom sink (only ok if you are 5 ft 6’ and above) we were 5ft 2’ Hallway light sensors could be adjusted to come on sooner, didnt like coming into total darkness .

Lovely spacious apartment in the very heart of York. Minutes away from the Minster, shop, cafes and restaurants. Parking nearby if required.

It's location couldn't have been better to suit our needs. It was very secure. It was very comfortable and warm.

We weren't sure where our apartment was or where. A map with a layout would be helpful. Luckily someone came and helped. There was no tea towel to dry dishes with. (We didn't use the dishwasher for the small amount we had).

The property is in an excellent position

Collecting the key from a pub a quarter of a mile away was inconvenient. Personally I found the mattress and pillows hard.

Nothing to dislike. Lovely bathroom but some mould in bottom of shower

The apartment was very secure and quiet in a very busy city. We loved the garden, only wished it could be accessed directly from rooms rather than going through 3 doors.

The rooms were very stuffy. I realize we visited during an unusually hot, dry spell but it was difficult to sleep due to very little air flow.

הגענו 2 מבוגרים ו-2 ילדות (16,12). החניה מרוחקת מהדירה, עם מזוודות העניין קצת מעיק. אין אפשרות להגיע עם המכונית עד הדירה (בשעות היום זהו רחוב להולכי רגל בלבד). הוראות ההגעה היו ברורות. בדירה יש חדר שינה וסלון. לילדות היתה ספה נפתחת בסלון. ציפיתי כי המצעים יחכו לנו בצורה מסודרת בדירה (כדי שאציע את מיטת הספה). במקום זאת, הייתי צריכה לפתוח את תא המצעים אשר מתחת למיטה בחדר השינה הראשי, ושם היו הרבה מאוד סוגים של מצעים, מגבות, מגיני מזרן וכיוב׳. נראה כאילו מישהו פשוט זרק המון פריטים לתוך תא האיחסון של המיטה (בלאגן). לא היה ברור אם כל הפריטים שהיו שם הם נקיים. השמיכה חיכתה בכלל בארון אחר ולא היה ברור אם היתה נקייה. מיטת הספה היתה מלוכלכת (לרבות שערות של אורחים קודמים). מיטת הספה היתה מאוד לא נוחה. חוויית המיטה המלוכלכת והמצעים היא זו שהורידה את הניקוד לדירה. בדירה יש מכונת כביסה אך ללא מייבש כביסה. לא ברור מה הטעם במכונת כביסה ללא מייבש- פרקטית אי אפשר לייבש כביסה בתוך הדירה עצמה (בכל הדירות האחרות ששהינו בהן היתה מכונת כביסה משולבת עם מייבש). בהוראות ההגעה שנשלחו אלינו לפני ההגעה, צויין כי הדירה מיועדת ל-2 דיירים מקסימום ולכן יתכן שלא יהיו מספיק מים חמים לכולם. לשם כך, בעלי הדירה הציעו כי נתקלח מהר או שנדליק דוד פעם נוספת (מה שמאריך את זמני המקלחת של כל המשפחה)- בפועל לא הפריע לנו במיוחד (התקלחנו מהר).

Clean and tidy with good location.

The sofa Bed was adequate but a little uncomfortable, would hardly be worth mentioning but it was the only thing that wasn’t excellent
