"Disappointing Minster "View" & insufficient value for money"

Location in the heart of the old town, very close to York Minster. Detailed description how to reach and get into the apartment.

"Minster View" is a huge exaggeration: At least in the summer months, you will see 95% trees and just a tiny bit of the Minster, due to tree foliage. The garden is not exactly "private", since a whole restaurant full of guests has as only view from their tables this "private" garden - you don't feel comfortable in this garden, being watched from so many tables. Price premium of 30-40% compared to e.g, Hilton York (situated between Clifford’s Tower und Fairfax House) or DoubleTree (similarly close to York Minster) is not justified. Plus at this price point, I would have expected more amenities - not even shampoo in the shower was provided (which I found in every single accommodation during my two weeks in the UK, even the ones of lower standard than this apartment).

"Enjoyable, relaxing and easy."

The property is in a prime location! So close to pubs, restaurants and shops. The car parking space is such a positive and the staff at the pub were so helpful. The property is tidy and clean - it has everything you could need!

"Superb"

Fantastic location, basically in the middle of everything. I went with my mum as a birthday treat to her and she absolutely loved the apartment. Communication via email was informative and relayed exactly what we needed to do to get to the apartment with no problems. We'll hopefully come again soon sometime. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment, location fantastic right in the centre of York but so quiet and peaceful. Everything in the apartment you could need lovely comfortable bed had 2 great nights sleep . There's nothing negative you could say about this property its fab , in fact yesterday we booked to come back next year we loved it so much!!! Can't wait to come back and we have recommended it to all our friends x
