No 28C St Benedict

The kitchen was well stocked. The address was in a good position in the area (30 seconds walk to the high street). The beds were comfortable. There was a small dining table and chairs and 2 sofas. The bathroom was modern and looked fairly new. There were new windows and a small shared garden.

Nothing hugely worth mentioning. Does lack a bit of Glastonbury charm but was very clean and tidy.

Communication with Jess was excellent. Maps were provided showing where to park. Was so nice finding a ground floor apartment that was accessible as one of our party has MS. Great location! Will be returning for sure.

Very comfortable, clean, welcoming accommodation close to the centre of the town, but still in a quiet area. The welcoming folder contained perfect information. I appreciated the supplied goods (milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, washing liquid & tablets, toilet paper,...) a lot.

The entrance between the inner and outer doors could benefit from a tidy up .

The apartment is perfectly situated, just round the corner from the town centre, and is on the ground level. It was very clean, and had thoughtful touches, such as hooks on the back of doors, and somewhere to put your shower gel etc in the shower cubicle. It was also very warm, which we were grateful for, when it was so cold outside!

Although the apartment was quiet and peaceful on the first night, we certainly noticed the difference on the second night, when people were in the apartment above, but I had already seen warnings about that on other reviews , so we just accepted it. However, the following night, the couple appeared to be having an argument, stomping about and shouting, so that wasn't so good. Still, I think it's a small price to pay for having such a lovely, central apartment, and our last night was peaceful again, so that was a perfect end to our little break.

Lovely and comfortable, excellent location, and helpful owner giving us parking directions etc.

Dirty cups glasses and cutlery that I had to wash up when we got there after a long journey. Very little kitchen roll for a five night stay meant we had to buy extra, and very small amount of hand soap for a five night stay. Also, the sachets of coffee left for us were 14 months out of date. For the price we paid all these things were unacceptable. Lovely place and location, and would like to stay again, but these things would need to be amended for that price

Very clean, light and spacious property. Will be handy in summer with its little patio area. Beds and pillows really comfty. Shower was lovely, and easy to use. Kitchen everything you need, with the added bonus of a small freezer compartment. (would have been nice to have had milk provided as you would expect in most hotels with the tea and coffee facilities but not a problem). Host really friendly and easy to talk to when I brought up the issue with the door and a panel having fallen in the lobby, just like talking to someone you already know and have a laugh with. Cleaning staff also lovely when I saw them on my way out. I have already booked again for next year!

Quite noisy at times when people walking about up above or next door, walls must be pretty thin. But the only thing we had a slight problem with was the door. On returning late from a night out, although it accepted the code and the knob turned, the door did not open. My friend let me in and said the same thing had happened to her earlier. Bit concerning when your out in the dark! and you'll need a torch to punch in the code also :)
