Woodvale Flat, Renton, Loch Lomond

Great friendly communication and check in and out from James, well equipped, super handy location for Loch Lomond, thoughtful touches like craft books/ice for drinks. Oh also loved the playpark being so close - great for kids!

The flat was clean and James was attentive to his guests and any hiccups. (fixed toilet seat after 1 text) Lovely lad. Flat definitely more suited to a younger family. TV was a smart Tv but had no idea how to use that bit but found freeview ok. Plenty of books, board games and DVD's available. Loch lomond and sites only 5 minutes by car so convenient for holiday bolt hole. Felt safe in the flat. I would recommend to any able bodied families for sure.

The immediate area is not picturesque if that's what your looking for and no local pub or restuarants so taxi or driver is necessary as nearest places to eat are in Balloch about 5 minute drive away. Myself (60) and Dad (85) both have varying levels of disability and while access was great due to ground floor flat the sofas were very low and ended up doubling up both sitting and back cushions on sofa to give more accessable height and a bit more comfort. However the beds were great.

great location for exploring Loch Lomand. Train station is a five minute walk, which was great for Balloch and only 2 stops. Balloch is a lovely little village on the water with plenty of places to eat. the castle grounds are beautiful. we really enjoyed our stay.
