Perfect location for Loch Lomond and Glasgow

Area is very quiet with no bars or restaurants in walking distance, but it was not a problem.

The place can only be described as great!! The kitchen is well equiped, the rooms have everything one would need to stay some days and the house in general is lovely. Anyone can see all the love and effort that james have put on it to be a lovely place as it was for himself. Really recomendable!

It was not far from Loch Lomond. The apartment had been decorated well and was clean in most areas. Host was helpful.

The carpets hadn't been hoovered and had grass/dirt on them. Other areas were clean but the cleaning sponges left in kitchen were covered in mould so we couldn't use them (and I hope they weren't used to clean up things but I took photos of them as it was pretty grim). The bathroom was clean but when it got wet, it had a strong smell of urine. The apartment sometimes smelt of smoke and had a weird smell in general. The neighbours were quite loud, I know this cannot be helped but I think it should be mentioned that you are staying in an area where people are accessesing the back stairs/communal garden throughout the night. There were opened bags of food left in the freezer, like oven chips which some people might like but we didn't think it was very professional/clean. We felt abit shocked because the reviews are all amazing and whilst this property might be good for a couple or a lads holiday - I don't think it is very suitable for a family. I really hate leaving a review like this but I don't think the ones left are very accurate and if they are - then we must of just caught it on a bad couple of nights.

James was super helpful and there if we needed anything. Really big beautiful bedrooms and decent sized garden for the kids to have a kick about. Really well placed for exploring the Loch. Balloch was about 5 mins away and Luss and Balmaha were about 20 mins.
