The Old Garage

A simple breakfast was provided in the room, with eggs and a good selection of cereals. (Shame the jam was mouldy though, and the bread by day 3). A good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and towels provided. A bowl is provided to wash dishes Able to park the car safely on the road outside, in a quiet area The bed was comfortable and bedding clean. Heating is in the room if needed.

The outside area is dingy and unwelcoming, you wouldn't want to sit out there. The accommodation is tired looking, the floor is lifting and furnishings worn. The roof leaked above the bed when it rained, though the host assures us this was soon fixed. Place could do with a good clean. Sadly we found the host to be curt and unfriendly.

Well equipped. Nicely contained.

The host did a great job with as we were self catering milk bread butter eggs tea and coffee were all there 😋. Thank you

It would have been nice to have a view and a small window somewhere in the living area

Nice self-contained room, with private access. It has good proximity to the South Downs and the coast. The fresh eggs to cook for breakfast were a nice touch.

Unfortunately, condensation dripped from the skylight and the hot tap in the bathroom did not dispense hot water.

It was very comfortable and the perfect size for myself and my collie. In a great location for lots of dog walks and amazing views. Free parking is also always a bonus.

Needed a little extra cleaning in areas, bathroom mostly. I don’t mind bugs but there was a few, maybe too many for others. I left them to be but could tell they had been there for a while. Also the jams were out of date so couldn’t unfortunately use them.
