New King Street Apartment

The flat is in a good location, around ten minutes walk from the centre of town. It is on a very nice square of houses and looks very attractive from outside. There is a key box that makes check-in easy and allows you to share the one set of keys you are allocated. The wifi works. There is a small garden/yard outside, which is nice to sit in. There are many windows, meaning it is well-lit and you can get some fresh air into the place on hot days.

When I booked the flat I was immediately asked for my personal details. I asked only to be contacted through the app. Instead, I was rung repeatedly and texted. In total I was contacted seven times off-app in a very short stay (a day and a half). This was unwelcome as I didn't initiate contact. The other things I didn't like are covered in previous ratings. It is damp and a humidifier was running downstairs when we arrived. The flat is small, the second bedroom can only fit a bed in it. We were only a party of two, so I am not sure how bigger groups would find it. This wouldn't bother me, but the price of the accommodation is very high for what you get. I wouldn't stay there again.

Location is perfect, and the property is well-kept and clean. Lovely feeling. The owner was communicative and helpful.

Could be a little cheaper, but we are in Bath.

- The second bedroom is quite small, essentially just a bed and a small chest of drawers. It’s more suitable for a child, as there’s limited space to change or move around. - The outdoor seating area isn’t as appealing as it looks in the pictures. Part of the patio has fallen away, and the blue fence is broken, making it unsafe to sit on. - The interior could benefit from a refresh and a new coat of paint and a deep clean. - The basement bathroom lacks proper ventilation, which can lead to dampness. A dehumidifier was provided, but it needs to be left on and emptied several times a day.

Location

It looked a little tired and neglected. Basement felt cold and damp, especially bathroom. Cooker and oven were dirty.

It was in a really good location. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed Very pleased with the apartment as it was an easy walk to the Roman Baths, the Christmad market and the town centre.

The television failed on the second evening and lost all its stations. It may be a good investment to get better tv cable/satellite package.

Could of done with some TLC and a deep clean - iecuobosrds, skirting boards But liveable Courtyard was not possible to use, weeds everywhere even growing on the chairs. Very dangerous also, walls and fencing broken down. Old building so to be expected, could off cornered off

Everything I needed. The owner was available if I needed anything. Out door space made it a even better.
