Home with a view

What's not to like? The hardest thing was climbing all the stairs to get to the top of the building - but who doesn't need the exercise? And the views were worth it. We had a couple of issues with the key - my fault, not the owner's! - and everything was handled with no problem whatsoever. I highly recommend this rental.

Only 2 things were not perfect: there wasn't a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, and these seem to be indispensable; there's no dishwasher in the kitchen. Yes, of course we were able to do the dishes by hand, so we didn't suffer. But we are all spoiled by modern conveniences, aren't we?

Great location and spotlessly clean.

The location was perfect, everything we needed on the doorstep.

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely location as base for various mountain bike trails within 1 hour. Great family space....still cosy/warm open plan living/dining/kitchen. And beds all very comfy.

The steps (!) but we knew that when we booked......not a deal breaker....still would go back.

The location was good, the host was there at 3 o'clock as planned. The flat was well appointed, clean with all amenities. The host was friendly and helpful

As a suggestion, a simple folder of how things work in the apartment would be helpful e.g. wifi, heating and boiler, hob, keys, how and when to leave apartment

Perfect location and free parking right outside. Very spacious and to a high spec. The owner is very accommodating, and let us check in a bit early as we had plans in the afternoon. Pubs, shops, and restaurants 100 yards away, and the big bay window in the living room was great for seeing the town and people watching.

It's not a problem for us, but the stairs may pose a problem with mobility issues as there are quite a few to get to the room. However, the apartment was well worth it!
