"A beautiful and peaceful location with excellent access to Exeter."

Location was excellent, very peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful garden full of trees and birdsong. The dog was very happy! Access into Exeter was very easy. The cottage was small but the cooking area had been very cleverly thought out and everything was to hand. Excellent bathroom with lovely shower.

It was a little bit dark inside and just slightly musty but nothing to worry about and certainly didn't spoil anything.

Location was perfect for us and in a very peaceful setting. It was very private and perfect for our little dog. Tam and Pete were exceptionally helpful.

"lovely stay in very quirky fun place"

The location is lovely and the cottage is very quirky and fun. The hosts were excellent, very welcoming and responsive to our questions. We had a fantastic time. The grounds around the cottage were beautiful.

The place was a little dark, plenty of lamps, but just not quite bright enough.

"Lovely quirky accommodation with really friendly host."

Great location for what we wanted to see and go to. Really friendly host, checked that we were okay.

Little tricky to get in and out of dining chairs especially with low shelf.

Orient House was delightful and a change for inner city locations where we felt in the countryside while only 10 minutes from town. Tam and Peter our host made us feel like old friends and checking we had all that was needed.

"Comfortable, peaceful and convenient."

Location is great - very rural and quiet yet really close to the city. Comfortable with all mod cons. Accommodating and friendly hosts on site. Very clean. Towels provided.

Couple of slight interior design quirks that didn't quite work - e.g. bedroom blinds were very thin and let in light, shower needed a bigger screen to stop water going on the floor. However these were really minor, didn't spoil our trip and were by no means deal-breakers.
