Orient House

Great hosts. Perfect location. Lovely thoughtful added extras like children's games and kitchen essentials. Lovely shower and comfortable beds.

Nothing we didn't like but there was limited worktop area in kitchen for cooking/serving meals.

Good Location - close to Exeter and an easy drive to other places of interest

Set in a quiet location in the outbuilding of a country house. The grounds were extensive and private and there was a play area for children. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The hosts were welcoming and kept in touch via message throughout our stay. The homemade jam, eggs and fresh apple juice were a lovely touch.

The living room was lacking in natural light and the dark furniture and black wall made the living space a bit gloomy. The kitchen had no preparation space so would make cooking a meal a challenge. The back bedroom was small and there was no storage space for clothes.

Good location and surroundings. Hosts were very hospitable and helpful.

Cottage was very dark and the furniture heavy making it difficult to move around or sit in comfort. The kitchen arrangements made any food preparation difficult.
