1 The Bay - Stunning contemporary flat on the Scottish coast

The location, modern, inviting, homely. It had everything we needed. We would stay again.

There was only a couple bit wrong. We paid for the place and then found out the wasn’t allowed on the sofa which confused the dog abit regarding this. The tv wasn’t volume settings were on differently thing so it was subtitles for the first night til we figured it out. The main bedroom tv, and living room- Netflix wasn’t working at all.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at "1 The Bay" on the stunning Scottish coast, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views of the coastline and the serene, tranquil setting. The accommodation itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, combining modern amenities with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The living area was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the outdoor space. The private terrace offered panoramic views of the sea, and it was a wonderful spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an while watching the sunset. The location was ideal for those looking to explore the natural beauty of the Scottish coast, with numerous walking trails and charming villages nearby. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and attentive, providing clear communication throughout the booking process and during my stay. They offered great local recommendations and made sure I had everything I needed to feel at home. Overall, "1 The Bay" is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of the Scottish coast. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and I can't wait to return!

The only downside was the couch in the living area. I found it to be a bit uncomfortable for long periods of sitting, which was a minor inconvenience during otherwise relaxing evenings.

Fabulous contemporary property set in a stunning location and incredible coastal walks.

The location is superb and very quiet. Very close to sandy bay and small beach cafe with village a short but uphill walk away. The village had a Spar, pub, butcher and some other shops. Eyemouth, with more facilities, was only a short drive away. The Ship Inn did great food. St Abbs is beautiful. The front of the apartment gets the sun all day. Comfy outside lounger chairs and big picnic bench when the weather is good. The apartment is also suitable for people who are disabled or have walking difficulties. My friend who accompanied me has Parkinson’s and coped really well. We did have a small problem and had to contact the owner who dealt with it efficiently and effectively and communication was excellent.

Everything was great. Nothing to dislike.
