Lovat Loch Ness Apartment with private roof terrace

Beautiful conversion of an old church, excellent location for visiting Loch Ness and the Highlands. Facilities such as swimming pool and steam room amazing, plus games room with full size snooker table.

Swimming pool only open 9-5pm, it’s not manned so not sure why it couldn’t open longer?

This was beyond our expectations. Fabulous setting in a great location. Perfect break away with lots to explore. The accommodation was ideal and so comfortable.

Loved the roof terrace, furnishings, location, well-equipped kitchen, little touches like coffee and chocolate cakes on arrival, tour of the property, very friendly welcome, information folder, comfortable beds, nice linens, all felt very clean, apartment much bigger than we expected

Taps all wrong way round, some minor repairs needed like window onto terrace which has clearly been forced too many times, but didn't spoil our enjoyment. We loved it

Beautiful surroundings

Missed a lift, 3rd floor is a lot of steps.

The property was fantastic; it was spacious and lots of lighting. The ease of access to the pool and other facilities was great for families.

We didn’t have hot water for our first couple of nights which was a bit inconvenient, but the staff were great at locating other apartments where we could shower/bathe.

Location and abbey building

Boathouse overpriced for what it delivered and seems to be missing a theme linked with the abbey and Scotland heritage .I think missing a trick here also no bar in the main abbey clubhouse. This venue could be developed into a fantastic experience instead of just relying on fabulous location.

Apartment was lovely, had everything you would need. Very clean. Swimming pool was great, we had it to ourselves. The building was very impressive. We liked the residents lounge. The grounds were lovely really quiet as well.

We booked this apartment specifically for the roof top terrace. It was really difficult to access this as it was through a small window. The size of the step up and nothing to hold onto made it really hard getting to the roof top and even harder getting down. The apartment was up lots of flights of stairs which would be a problem for someone with mobility issues as there was no lift.. This wasnt mentioned in the apartment description.

Great location. Lovely and comfortable flat. Well furnished, no problems with any white goods etc.

Swimming pool changing area could do with being a bit larger.

Location was just next to everything really (restaurants, boat trips pier, shops, etc). Apartment was perfect for a small family, with all the facilities we would ever need for any kind of length of stay. Free parking, access to gym, swimming pool abd games room (table tennis, pool, etc) was just the cherry on top of a lovely cake. We were greeted by Mike who took his time to explain everything to us, not only about the apartment, but the surroundings and things we can do as well, amazing first impression, thank you Mike. We cannot fault anything really, an amazing experience for a first time trip to Scotland.
