Bougainvillea

It was a very well laid out flat in a great location. The host remained socialy distanced but was very friendly and helpful. The flat was dog friendly which was important to us. All the little things were taken care of (towels, bin bags, washing up soap etc) and the cupboards had a good selection of crockery, glasses etc. There was even a private parking spot which is very helpful in such a popular seaside town.

The heating took a little getting used to but the host helped us by providing plug in electrical radiators. I suspect this isn't usually a problem, we just happened to stay during a particularly cold spell.

A very comfortable and pleasant apartment. Very well equipped and p appointed. The host was excellent.

There was a parking space at the premises, but it you is not suitable for larger vehicles.

Absolutely beautifully decorated Victorian apartment, a 2 minute walk to the grocery store, selection of great restaurants, several pubs and the high street with eclectic, antique stores. Just at the top of the hill from the beach, great way to burn off that big pub lunch. Ventnor is very quiet and quaint, compared to the more common tourist towns of Sandown, Shanklin, Cowes and Newport. A great way to relax and reflect with some quiet time.

Absolutely nothing wrong at all

Great location on the seafront & very close to esplenade & town centre. Very clean & nicely furnished. Very helpful hosts.

Car parking space is small & if you have a large car it is very vulnerable to passing traffic! The bathroom is a little tired & could do with being refitted, that said everything works perfectly and it does the job!

We enjoyed our few days stay at Bougainvillea. The location was just perfect for us, not too far from the sea and the bars and restaurants. The apartment was equped with everything we needed and had lovely decor. The sitting room gets light through most of the day, you have even a bit of seaview from there. Easy and flexible check in and check out. Our host, Majella was very helpful, easy to contact with and replied quickly.

Excellently maintained and well situated apartment with cosy fittings and high ceilings and convenient parking. I felt at home right away. Thank you for a bottle of wine on the table!
