Excellent parking facilities, safe & secure underground parking. Clean, spacious, comfortable apartment. Great communication with host.

"Hairs on bed!"

Only the location

It was dirty, there were hairs, many short dark hairs, on the bed. The host was rude and did not take responsibility for the lack of hygiene. They just said others have complained of hair so they can get refunds. To me, this indicates that lack of hygiene is a recurrent problem in this place. Booking.com did nothing about it.

located almost in downtown so very convenient. room is spacious and three single beds are comfortable. kitchen has most of English cookware. wifi is good.

1. no dishwasher tablet or liquid. The landlord asked us to buy it ourselves, but we only stayed for one night. How could we buy a bottle of detergent just to wash a few dishes? 2. A door lock is broken

"Clean apartment, perfect size for 5 people in a great location but with very basic facilities"

Really clean, good location, easy check in and communications

Some of the facilities and items in the apartment were incredibly basic - no washing up liquid, tea towels or an oven glove which made having even pizzas in the apartment pretty difficult

Great location. Easy walk into the city centre. Free, secure parking. Clean and functional

If we had been planning to spend more time in the apartment it would have been a bit cramped for 5 adults (eg one sofa and one arm chair). Would be helpful to have some tea towels, dish cloth and table mats. The double bed was extremely uncomfortable and needs a better mattress. Also a welcome pack with some teabags so can make tea on arrival would have been a nice addition.

"Perfect location for visiting the town"

Location. Space in the flat. Lovely living room/dining space. Parking for free - essential in York Two bathrooms - lovely if you don't want long queues for a shower.

Too hot and tricky to cool down at night as if you leave the windows open it would be very noisy. Shame. The double bed was not very comfy.

The mattresses could do with an upgrade as they creak when you turn over and are a bit lumpy.
