Struggled to get the shower to be warm enough

very clean , very comfortable, close to town center, for sure I will stay again 😀

The location is busy all evening as it's right in the city so it's noisy until the early hours. I'm not an early to bed person and used to live in Chelsea so I wasn't too surprised or dismayed but the old windows letting the noise in and sometimes very fast or very heavy traffic resulted in it being "city noisy" until really late. The car park on the corner opposite is free overnight until 9am so that was very handy when the streets were full and you couldn't get close to permit park without a walk.

The apartment was advertised and reviewed as immaculate but it wasn't as clean on the days I visited. The carpets in the living room were dirty, the kitchen smelled quite stale and the sink needed a really good clean with greasy food left on the taps. The fridge smelt very strongly of the last person's garlicky food which made me feel a little bit sick every time I opened it. The bathroom needs a deep clean with the ridged decorative tiles being yellowed with limescale that looked dirty and unpleasant. The toilet seat was stained with what looked like tanning lotion so it didn't make you feel like it was clean and the non slip shower mat inside the shower was still filled with very long dark hairs from someone who had stayed before me. The last straw was two of the long black hairs I'd spotted in the shower being in the bed on the pillow when I pulled back the quilt and lifted the top pillow. I can't sleep or shower easily with the remnants of another person's body still present for my visit so it made me uncomfortable while I was there. The shower experience once I got in there with the hairs was a little disappointing as there is very little water pressure so if you have a lot of hair to rinse be prepared to be there a while.

Easy access although no key felt strange.

For the money we paid it was perfectly sound.

The location was great, near the college and very accessible to convenient stores and short walk to city center. Spacious house with comfortable bed and big bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed - utensils. coffee/tea/sugar and salt and pepper

It can get very noisy at night especially on weekends as there are nearby bars. The hot shower unit needed to be turned on and off few times before the hot water comes

Good location, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped property

shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom would be helpful, but not a mjaor issue with a shop nearby. Some noise from street and above, but nothing much the owners could do about that.

The house is impeccably clean, well-equipped kitchen, 3 minutes walk to the city center, easy communication with the host.
