A very neat and homely apartment in a great location.

It was perfect for our needs

Extremely noisy- awoken multiple times by traffic and road noise as well as passers by. There was a funny smelll as if not cleaned properly when we entered property- had to buy air freshener. Shower tiles were absolutely filthy and shower unit was full of grime- hadn’t been cleaned properly for a long time. Also very poor shower water pressure. Radiator in bathroom was also filthy. Nicely furnished and homely touches. Overall could be a lovely property if properly cleaned and there was less noise pollution.

This apartment is conveniently located, so we could walk anywhere, and is very clean with a comfortable bed.

The apartment is well located for access to the town centre, only a short walk to the shops, bar and restaurants. The space was clean and tidy and the property is well equipped in the kitchen and has a very practical and pleasant bathroom. The bedroom had enough storage space and a reasonably comfortable bed. The Fire stick in the TV was a nice touch and made access to a range of streaming services very convenient.

The main problem we had was the noise. The bed is only a few metres from (and level with) a busy road with only a single-glazed window in between. Of course, the number of vehicles reduces in the middle of the night, but getting to sleep was very challenging and the noise does continue throughout the night. For anyone who has the least difficulty sleeping or is particularly sensitive to noise this apartment should be avoided - at least bring earplugs if you can use them. Our first night was a Saturday, so the road noise was joined by people leaving nearby pubs early in the morning and having shouted conversations right outside the bedroom window - I imagine this would be less of an issue on some days of the week. My overall "poor" rating for the apartment is purely because of the noise, not anything inside the apartment itself - we came home after one night (of a 2-night booking) because of this, so our experience of the property could only be described this way.
