Modern Riverfront Apt. 10 mins from Hydro/SECC

The location was good. Size of the apartment was really decent . Looks good at first sight and pretty clean. Contact with the owners was really good and they answered my calls and tried to assist which was reassuring at least.

The apartment is very poorly maintained. We stayed in 9 apartments in 9 days around Scotland and this was the worst sadly. The advertisement doesn't specify a height restriction on the car park facilities. So having a roof box was a big issue and caused us a lot of stress on arrival. The apartment was in need some some TLC. The quality of finishes were bad, holes in walls, floors raised and damaged. Stained ceilings, half the lights not working. Bathroom door hanging off and didn't close. Beds were uncomfortable. Blinds were broken and didn't fit the windows so daylight pours through. Carpet felt gritty and needed a clean. It looks like it's been recently repainted but they just painted around the mirrors and pictures etc, so very cheap and disappointing finish. The plastic packaging on the door hooks hadn't even been taken off before installed. Ventilation system was very dirty and very loud. If your looking for a basic overnight stay in the city then ok. But for a holiday stay I wouldnt recommend.

Location was excellent. 4 minute walk to OVO and a short stroll along the river into town. Easy check in process and felt secure whilst in apartment. Car parking space along with apartment was great also.

Apartment was lovely on first glance however the whole place needs a makeover and decorated. Quite old, tired and shabby in places. Everything was clean to a point and we did sleep well however just little things that were missing. Could do with a table or rug in the living area and furniture in bedroom was very dated. Kitchen was clean enough however a couple of the oven trays had not been washed and were very dirty and there was no tinfoil/cleaning sprays which we are used to so from that point of view not great. No option to check in early or check out late. We knew all this upon booking, however there was no flexibility. Having to be out 10am sharp is pretty unusual these days given that the check in is 4pm.

Apartment requires a spruce-up/makeover, it was grossly overpriced. We had a plumbing problem, which didn't help.

Location is OK, but road outside very noisy. Flat is average - uncomfortable settees. Kitchen was ok, with adequate facilities.

Advertised as river view, which was why we booked it, but this is a lie. You can just about make out a bit of river if you hang out of the window and look about 500 meters up the street past the flats on the other side of the road. We were very cross about this. £75 cleaning fee? When we arrived, the place was barely passable. There were sweet wrappers, travel tickets hair ties and other bits and pieces lying on the floor. The toilet in the en-suite had a thing tied round it saying that it had been sanitised, but there was human waste on the seat. We left the place cleaner than we found it. We should have been paid for cleaning it! WiFi only worked about 50% of the time. We had to use phone hotspots, which was a bit inconvenient. Whole place scuffed and a bit tatty, but short lets get like that quickly, so not a problem.
