The location was spot on right in the town centre

Very good cooking facilities, and equipment. Lovely big fridge. Shops & cafe’s very close by. Comfortable bed. Lovely shower.

Unfortunately the fair arrived the day after us, and set up a stone’s throw from the apartment, so every afternoon and evening it was blaring out music, announcements and noise from the rides and screams from participants which we could hear even with all the windows closed in the apartment. Fortunately it did quieten down by about 10.30, but then in the mornings we were woken up early by roadsweepers/refuse trucks clearing up the mess from the night before. One evening (3 a.m.) we were woken by flashing lights lighting up the bedroom, which remained for about ten minutes (police? security? Ambulance?). On the last night the thump thump thump went on until around 11.30, but then we had the noise from the pubs turning out (laughter, shouting) until gone 12. Of course this was all out of the control of the owners of the apartment, and we would stay there again, except not when the fair is on!

Only the weather

Really lovely apartment, located in a great central location on a quiet road in Buxton. The self check-in process was really easy to follow. On arrival, the apartment was warm and cosy, in a really clean condition with plenty of clean towels. There are basic supplies to get you going, and shops are available within a 5 min walk. The bed was comfy, the shower had great water pressure and temperature. Good instructions were provided for just about everything you could think of. Highly recommend this property. Communication with the hosts was fast and responsive at all times.

Nothing to dislike, I had a perfect stay.
