The terrace

Good accommodation, good shower and the bed was comfortable. Well-appointed kitchen and equipment plus washing machine. TVs are great. Furniture, fit and finish are very good.this is a very good place, well worth the visit. The location is really good, close to the city walls (Walmgate Bar) near superb cafes. Access to York City is very easy.

As I have Hyperacusis, (sensitivity to noise) creaking flooring in the bedroom and staircase along with external noises through the night caused me hearing issues. External noise less with the windows closed but made the room much warmer. (Time of year) There is a fan, but this again, for me, if used, would cause me hearing issues. Parking occasionally an issue, others parked very close making it tight to exit the on street parking.

How clean and modern the property is. Terrace is a lovely touch, could see it being a great place in the summer. Liked the fact that the walking distance to the city centre is short and easy to navigate.

Fire alarm in the kitchen is way to close to the hob/oven, it was set off way to many times when cooking. The fact that the toilet was down stairs isn't the best and the tiles were freezing cold on your feet. Would recommend a bath mat. Personal preference but the pillows were to solid and the mattress didn't do our backs any good.

Proximity to the attractions in York and being able to park without any problems.

The hot water ran out very quickly.

Lovely quiet and comfortable apartment with all the facilities that I needed. The roof terrace is an added bonus. Highly recommended.
