Bridge Square Apartments

Information provided before check in by host was really good and made accessing the property straightforward. When we had an issue with the parking, the host was really helpful and resolved this quickly which was appreciated. Apartment was well equipped apart from a few things mentioned below.

Fire alarm went off at 3am and we had to evacuate which isn't the hosts fault but was frustrating. Had to wait for a resident in the building to contact the building manager to disable alarms once fire service had checked it out as the hosts do not live local. Parking space was taken on arrival which meant we had to contact the host. They did sort it out promptly though. Would of had to incur additional parking charges had it not been sorted but wasn't ideal when we arrived so late. Washing machine needs a clean as put black mould stains and ruined clothes when used the dryer. Kitchen could do with some additions- kitchen roll, foil, a sieve, baking trays. Made cooking a bit tricky. Also living room small windows could do with curtains for when using the sofa bed. One of our party complained it was too light when sleeping in there due to lack of curtains. Address wasn't picked up on maps. (Google.maps links disabled on email provided ahead of checkin). Took a bit of time to find it. Searched dynamite living from email signature and this worked.

The apartment was much larger than we expected with all the facilities we needed (except a hairdryer which we found surprising). Would definately recommend it.

Building work further up the road causing major traffic jam making it difficult to enter and leave the apartment block.

The location was perfect. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. I liked the extra touches provided by the hosts such as tea, coffee, milk, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid.

The apartment was generally in good order but the blinds in the twin bedded room were broken and the toilet seat needed tightening. A shelf in the bathroom would have been useful too. Perhaps some plastic cups could also have been provided.

Very spacious apartment in an ideal location for access to the city centre. Would have been nice to have a bigger TV in the front room though.

There didn't seem to be any extraction working in the bathroom, so smells didn't disappear. (If you know what I mean 🤣) The toilet seat was loose on one side, so slid about on use. Also there is no ventilation to the twin bedroom so it gets very warm during the night & the metal frame beds made quite a bit of noise when moving about - perhaps just need tightening up.

Great location,. Well equit, comfortable really good base for shopping exploring ect minutes walk away from the centre.

Quite stuffy with the hot weather there was a fan in 1 of the bedrooms but could do with more.but that's not to be a negative on the apartment as we were blessed with great weather!
