Ardbeg 4 - Farm Stay with Sea Views across to Northern Ireland

Lovely location beautiful scenery

The property was very clean and tidy and equipped with all that you need for a great getaway, with excellent views. Great quiet location ideal to explore the local area. The host were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this property.

Large bins outside but no facility for glass. Perhaps mention this in lodge information.

The host describes the chalet/caravan/mobile home as basic but comfortable......this is a very good description. The lounge and kitchen area were quite generous but, with a fixed amount of space, the bedrooms and bathrooms have to be rather small. There was a surprisingly good amount of storage space but overall I think it would be quite difficult for two couples. We would have enjoyed sitting out of the balcony/patio but the weather wasn't conducive to this. The Internet was fine for all we wanted (didn't need to use for streaming) and the TV had FreeView channels. I think a violent storm on our last night knocked out the internet. The kitchen area had a microwave and ample utensils but it has been a long time since I saw a frying pan that wasn't non-stick! Communication with the owners was very good and helpful. The location is very pleasing with splendid views (but don't think you are near a beach for practical purposes). The chalet was cleaned to a good standard for our arrival. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I don't like the title of the heading......I just want to make a comment. Prior to departure you are requested to wash and dry all your dishes etc......naturally we would do this but we know (from friends who rent a property) that people often leave the kitchen in a mess. You are requested to take your rubbish to the skips which were close by, so this wasn't a big issue. The final requested was to strip the beds and put all the laundry into a bin bag(s). I hesitate to comment but this makes the £50 cleaning fee seem rather expensive.

Ideal place for getting up in the morning and going exploring around the area

Close to port Patrick and other beeches

The place was so quiet grear relaxing area Views obsrtuced a,bit but stiil nice

Mattresses maybe a,bit better quality

We loved every think about our stay

Every thing was great

The view was lovely.very peaceful.

The only thing is u would have to drive to get there.
