Midships Lodge

The lodge was very well appointed which met all of our needs. The kitchen had all the utensils which you could need. The decorations of the lodge were fantastic and very well put together. The lodge was spacious while also feeling cosy. The host was also very helpful for all of our needs. The Salcombe Retreat lodges are in an fantastic part of Devon, with plenty of walks on offer along the footpaths and down to the coast path too. Would highly recommend.

Lodge was just perfect …. Cody, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean … couldn’t have asked for more.

Excellent location. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Sparking clean. Amazing powerful showers. Minor issues very quickly ( almost immediately!) dealt with by host and caretaker which was hugely appreciated. Incredibly responsive. Nothing was too much trouble.

Beautifully located lodge. End of row. Peaceful. Clean. Well equipped and very comfortable. The lodge has lots of lovely features that reflect its location. Local art work, nic nacs, lamps, furniture. Plenty of towels. 2 bathrooms is great. Good showers with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Lovely outside deck and seating area. Dog friendly. Located very close to an open dog exercise field. Short drive to Salcombe and surrounding villages. Lovely coastal walks nearby. Really is a home from home.

Nothing to dislike. An indoor drying rack would be useful but certainly didn't create any negative thoughts about our stay!

Clean, modern, lovely stay with comfy beds. The host is very helpful and checks in to make sure you have everything you need.

The property is great, you can’t fault it. It’s a 30 minute walk to the nearest beach but if you have a car and don’t mind paying for parking it’s not a problem.
